Govind Shaligram

Experience the sacred spiritual significance of Govind Shaligram Bhagwan from AstroMukti, a naturally formed sacred Shaligram Shila traditionally associated with Lord Govinda, a revered name of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. Govinda appears among the sacred names of Vishnu and is especially associated with Krishna in devotional traditions. Shaligram Shilas are traditionally worshipped as natural representations of Lord Vishnu and are associated with the Kali Gandaki region of Nepal. Their different forms are traditionally identified through combinations of natural colour, chakra markings, openings, shape and surface patterns. A commonly cited traditional description identifies Govind Shaligram as black in colour and lustrous in appearance, with a single natural chakra, a marking resembling a Gada on the right side and a mountain-like formation on the left side.
