Madhav Shaligram

Experience the sacred spiritual significance of Madhav Shaligram Bhagwan from AstroMukti, a naturally formed sacred Shaligram Shila traditionally worshipped as Lord Madhava, a revered form and name of Lord Vishnu. Madhava is included among the traditional sacred names of Vishnu. Shaligram Shilas are sacred natural formations traditionally associated with Lord Vishnu and the Kali Gandaki region of Nepal. Different Shaligram forms are classified through combinations of natural colour, shape, chakra formations, openings and distinctive markings. Traditional descriptions identify Madhav Shaligram as having a honey-like colour, natural markings resembling a Gada and Shankha, and a glazed Chakra situated around the middle portion of the Shila. Traditional classification further associates worship of this form with Moksha or spiritual liberation.
