Vishnu Shaligram
Experience the sacred spiritual significance of Vishnu Shaligram Bhagwan from AstroMukti, a naturally formed sacred Shaligram Shila traditionally worshipped as a representation of Lord Vishnu, the divine preserver in Hindu tradition. Shaligram Shilas are traditionally associated with the Kali Gandaki region of Nepal and are revered in Vaishnava traditions as natural, non-anthropomorphic representations of Lord Vishnu. They are traditionally identified through combinations of natural Chakra formations, openings, colour, shape, surface patterns and other naturally occurring markings. Traditional descriptions of Vishnu Shaligram are not completely identical across all classification systems. One traditional description of Vishnu-murti Shaligram refers to a dark-coloured Shila displaying markings associated with the divine weapons of Lord Vishnu along with Vanamala and Padma. Another contemporary classification describes the foundational Vishnu Shaligram as generally black, rounded and smooth, with subtle or sometimes no clearly visible Chakra markings.
